There is a lot of  free information flowing  its way on the net  today , we as parents earn lots of benefits from this situation. One of the most interesting  benefits is educating our kids without further investment. It is a known fact that kids that browse the Internet are more educated and have a larger general knowledge than kids that do not visit the online world.

But even though the Internet  has lots of uses and benefits, we all know of the dangers that await our innocuous kids when browsing the net. So, how can we as parents defend our kids from the dangers that lurk on the net? There are very important  tips that we can instruct and check before letting our youngsters browse a website. number 1 take a quick look at a site pictures and search for violent or nude images. Sites that are not suitable will usually have problematic images displayed on their homepage. Another thing we should inspect is the site’s name ( or URL). Looks for suspicious names, the more decent and professional names will have short readable names. If you spot a problematic name that implies nudity or vehemence do not allow you young one browse this site.

After following this  guidelines  , you might want to learn which sites are generally good for our kids, well generally saying sites that are categorized as kids games are suitable. After checking the site following the tips I mentioned, take a quick look and see which games your kid is playing.

As many online sites  may contain titles  with mild violence, the most recommended sites are the dressup sites, those sites usually contain non-violent and very safe games for kids. Most of the games displayed there are dress up games, doll games, fun games, dressuparcade-Cooking games, etc… and most of the arcade games displayed on those sites are suitable for the young ones.

The last time i browsed those sites i noticed that a very low portion of the games may display problematic images ( a girl in a bikini for instance), but compared to other sites you can clearly see that dressup sites are more safe than others.

So after reading those guiding rules, don’t forget that any site that your kid browses may  have  things that are not suitable and your job as a parent is looking over your child while he’s  enjoying  the Internet  .
